Great people, knowledgable and willing to patiently explain questions. I recommend them above a big name service center where selling is what they know best rather than being specialists.

Long story short this place seems honest and operates on integrity. I truly appreciate that. I thought I completely ruined my tail light casing, turns out I didn’t. Typically I take my baby to the Chevy dealership for all maintenance but I’m happy I stopped by this location for this small issue. They included a thorough mechanical inspection and caught something the dealership bother to address with me. I definitely plan on bring my car back to have those items taken care of. Ans NO, they didn’t just make up some stuff to get me to come back. They sent me photos and videos that show what they found and also gave me a breakdown of costs. And ALSO informed me on the best route to go with it that would help me not accrue additional service fees on separate maintenance tasks. ☺️

Sallas was great to work with. I had paid our former mechanic several times to fix an intermittent engine problem over the last several years, but it kept coming back. Sallas identified the problem, ordered the correct parts, and fixed it. They were always pleasant to talk to, and even had a driver to pick us up when it was ready. I wish they had been able to fix it sooner--it was out for about 10 days--but I'd rather have it fixed right than turned around sooner.

I needed to get two cars in for service in one day on short notice and the incredibly kind team from the Overland Park shop were able to accommodate, get what I needed done right away and at a fair price. I am a DIY wannabe mechanic, always trying to keep our family's four older cars going without breaking the bank. I was in a bind and needed professional help as one of my attempts to repair my 2008 Mazda looked like it had gone bad. The folks at Sallas were gracious, answered all my questions and gave me a few pointers before bringing it in. Once there, they all treated me like an old friend and continued to answer all my anxious questions, promptly got to work and was done by the middle of the day. As I drove the car home, I was incredibly happy with with the evaluation and work they performed. They could have easily screwed me over and milked me for thousands, but never once in the entire process did they give me any reason to question anything they said or the work they performed. The second car in that day was in for a prepurchase inspection, a possible replacement for the Mazda. I've used other presale evaluation services before and wasn't very impressed. But the evaluation process at Sallas was top notch, professional and worth every penny. Buying a used car is always a gamble. But their presales inspection and repair estimates gave me the information and leverage I needed to negotiate a much better price with the dealership. Knowing I can bring the car back to Sallas for service I can't DIY will save me hundreds over the dealership. With money tight, it is great to have friends like the folks at Sallas Auto Repair you can trust with your cars and budget. Thanks for a great experience; I'll definitely be back. I've already told a few folks to give you a call.

Always give a clear and accurate assessment of the problem and what it will take to fix it. And they do the job right. I've never had to take my car back because the problem wasn't fixed.
