I travel in my RV around the country in search of adventure. Recently, my truck needed some work done while I was in Kansas City and I had no idea who I could trust to do the work. We were visiting my niece and she suggested Sallas. They were SO easy to work with. I scheduled an appointment and when I arrived I was greeted by Paul who asked all the right questions to diagnose the problem. He was upfront and clear about what he could (and could not) do. I knew this was going to take pretty much all day, so I sat in the waiting room with my trusty computer to get some work done. I had been told by someone that one of the ways you can tell how good an auto shop is, is to look at the service bays to see how clean they are. I was able to get a peek at them through the window and they were immaculate. The floor was clean and all the tools were organized. From my perch in the waiting room I was able to observe as people came in and out... Everyone was greeted with a smile, enthusiasm and respect. I was also able to hear some follow up calls being made. The person who did that was polite and professional. Clearly someone who knows how see things from the customers point of view. Being from out of town and not really knowing what I was getting into, I was concerned that there was some real potential to being taken advantage of. Not so. Instead of selling me an expensive fix to a minor problem (which they could have easily done)... I was told my truck was safe and I just needed to monitor the symptoms and it could be dealt with down the road. Now I know what is causing the symptom.... how to monitor it... and when to start looking for more help. Bottom line... this is a place with good people... doing good work... and you can trust them. I think they deserve at least 6 stars.
