Brought my 1996 dodge ram in last week for mainly transmission check, vacuum leak, and a general check. The report I got back was probably gunna need a new transmission, but let’s try the fluid and filter. I asked about the vacuum leak but they said it was check, upon further asking they didn’t actually check it. When I made sure it was checked they said no leak. When I got the truck back into my hands I popped the hood and found the vacuum leak within 10 seconds. It was a bright green after market vacuum line rigged up. How would they not notice that if I was able to find it almost right away? I sent a text on the text chain we were on with pictures and they never got back to me. Also when I got my keys back and asked about the transmission. All they said it was better. I asked more questions and Wyatt told me just to keep driving. Didn’t seem like they cared or even knew about my truck. They are the professionals right? Why can’t I get a professional opinion about what to do next for my transmission?
