I have used Sallas Automotive a couple times and appreciate their attention to detail, communication, and overall approach to business.

Is it possible for an auto shop to smell like an engine AND give warm and cozy vibes? Yes. The staff is friendly and welcoming, always taking the time to explain the situation/work performed, and often (in my case) going WAY above and beyond to research and solution an unusual scenario (special shoutout to Brad!). They are honest and ethical and don’t prey on consumers. More than once, I’ve approved work that wasn’t able to be tested (the noise never happens when it’s supposed to!), and they adjusted my invoice accordingly. I also appreciate the tech-forward options (not requirements!, if you’re old school) available to clients. Such as the ability to book online, review proposed and itemized work on my phone before deciding if and how to proceed, and the option to communicate and receive updates via text. Overall, it’s a knowledgeable shop with a small town feel and big city results. Or maybe it’s the log cabin interior of the office 😆.

I needed to have my inspection done for obtaining my license renewal. I was impressed from the time I called to get an appointment. The inspection was performed quickly, and my 2000 Ford Explorer passed, but I also appreciated the information I was given regarding repairs that I could choose to do in the future. Having recently had necessary repairs done at another place, I was VERY pleased to see what I was quoted. I feel the pricing was very fair, especially since I had been given quotes on the same repairs from the other place. I give this place a 5 star + rating. The person who helped me from start to finish was Zander. I’ll be calling him soon to have some of the quoted items repaired. And for any car repair needs in the future on either of our cars, he is who I will be calling. 😊

I have taken my vehicle to Sallas for several years. I have done everything from an oil change to a transmission replacement. All of the employees are wonderful and knowledgeable. I feel I get honest information and know my options when making decisions. I highly recommend Sallas for your automotive needs.

Everyone is pleasant trust them with my car, seems little overpriced

Sallas auto is awesome. I found it via a quick search when I was about to buy a pre-owned vehicle. I called the shop to ask if they could do a bumper to bumper inspection before I bought the car to let me know if it was in good shape. What impressed me the most was how they consolidated their findings - most shops would just verbally tell you any issues they found (if any) then send you on your way. Sallas auto impressed me from the start because after dropping off my car, they offered shuttle service (or a paid uber) to a location of your choosing. Then, when Sallas finished up the inspection, they wrote up a report that I’m able to keep in my files, with pictures and recommendations. When I came I pick up my car, Jeremiah (the manager) sat down with me to go over the report. Since then, I’ve brought both my cars for all my services to Sallas auto. When another shop told me I needed to replace the rear sway bars, Sallas auto looked at it and said it was so minor that it wasn’t worth spending the money. They’ve never done extra work or tried to upsell me a service. They even went the extra step and looked up the data on my car to make sure they weren’t duplicating a service that I didn’t need). The only “bad” thing about Sallas is that services take awhile. I know that if I drop off my car at 0730, I probably won’t get it back until mid-afternoon. But the detailed service and friendliness of the shop has me coming back. Also, they provide a military / first responder discount.
