Prior to bringing my 2009 Jeep Wrangler to Sallas, I had taken it to 2 Jeep dealerships in the Overland Park area because of a churning sound I was hearing from underneath the vehicle. Both dealerships were unable to identify the source of the noise and told me that they needed the situation to get worse before they could diagnose and repair it. Within 2 weeks of going to the dealerships, I took the Jeep to Sallas. Within 2 hours, they had identified the problem and repaired it. In addition, the technician (Jesse) addressed a couple of other issues he identified while he had the Jeep up in the air, one of which was a brake line that had been worn away. At the end of the day, they charged me a very reasonable fee for labor and resolved a long-standing issue with the car. I would recommend Sallas to anyone that is sick of tired of dealing with car dealers and being overcharged for work.

In my last review, I expressed my anxiety over a diagnostic check that could of been a nightmare but turned out being " one of those things that you can now say whew!" After getting a call from the company, I have the rest of the story, I can say after speaking to the manager and reviewing the situation, and a apology from the company, that they are good people. The manager will be forwarding a refund on what we did pay for, diagnostic review, etc. Thank you gentlemen, I truly appreciate your concern and call.

I brought my Vovlo xc90 2004 to sallas after several shops, the very first shop. The Very first shop I had dident put my water pump on correctly, which blew my motor. 300 miles down the road there I was stranded on the side of the road in the dark. My car was towed down the road shop after shop after shop. Finally it ended up at sallas auto repair!!! They hooked me up and I was finally back on the road!!! Which all should know it's not easy being stranded in the dark freezing cold. I have the most trust in sallas auto repair to do all my work for me on my Volvo!!!! Thank you guys for being completely nothing but the best!!!!

We broke down traveling through Kansas. We called Sallas right when they opened and although they were busy, John told us we could drop it off and they'd check it out. We were super stressed out but John and his crew took care of us and the car. John, Dan, and Brian get major kuddos for all of the work they put into getting our car fixed and helping us get back on the road. John even made sure to let us know to call if we had any problems on the rest of our journey (20+ hours to home). The Sallas Auto Repair group (Overland Park) are awesome. If we lived there, they'd be our go-to mechanic. THANK YOU!!

A very good experience top to bottom. I was referred by a friend to check with Sallas, glad I did. The staff was very friendly and informative, taking a couple minutes to break down what exactly was happening and why it was. I was back on the road a short time later and I know who I'll call the next time I need a repair. Thanks guys!

I just wanted to take a few moments to brag about your Overland Park store. They never cease to amaze me! I have been there numerous times as well as my husband a handful of times. Most of the times just for an oil change, but, a few times for pricey repairs that they just seem to make me feel better about and always find some type of help to make it easier on my wallet. This last time, I couldn’t have been any happier. I usually make an appointment, but, over the weekend, I had a flat and didn’t end up getting it fixed. I brought it in yesterday and stated my name and as Larry was looking through the appointments, I told him I didn’t have one and told him my situation. I asked how much it would be and was told it would be $33 dollars . Feeling it was kind of pricey and thinking I needed new tires by winter, I debated on getting it fixed and just dealing with it, even though I know that it’s not good to drive like that, especially after knowing how fast my tire was leaking as my husband could see the nail in the tire. I was talking to Larry and was telling him about my tires and that they were at 6/32 and he looked at me stunned that I was going to buy tires when they were like that, and advised I wait until at least Spring! He totally answered a prayer, not to mention made me a happy customer. I told him I was going to call my husband first to see what he wanted me to do, and I would be back. He said fix it as what Larry had explained you all do, to him, seemed like a reasonable price. So, I asked for a ride home, and that’s where it got even better! The driver, Dan, who knows me well as he’s always taking me to my house, was there and they said that they didn’t have any of the courtesy vehicles to take me back in. I said, no biggie I can just walk home as I just live a few blocks down the street. Nope! He comes to get me in his OWN car and takes me home! Never in a million years would I think that ANY repair shop would have an employee be willing to use their own personal car to take a customer home. That totally made my day. He then came back(in the courtesy car) to come pick me up when my car was done, and when I came to get my car, John and Larry assisted me in getting my bill paid and I noticed that there was something I missed from the time before about a light being out, and inquired about it. They said you probably already fixed it. I hadn’t, but, now I will make sure it’s fixed. Anyways, long story short, I just wanted you to know that you all have an AWESOME crew working for you and I am so blessed to have found your all’s repair shop.
