Being a family with four kids, the last thing I wanted was a new car payment. I love my car and I knew it had more life in it but other places told me my 2007 Escalade either needed a new engine or should be traded in. I gave Sallas an opportunity to give me a second opinion after being recommended by friends here on Facebook. Being from Western Kansas, and having mechanics in the family I instantly felt like I was at my uncles shop back west and felt at home at theirs talking with John. They gave me all the options of what I could do and what I absolutely needed to do to make my vehicle safe for my family and to still get a few more years out of the old boy. I highly recommend Sallas Auto Repair.

I received good courteous service on an emergency repair of my 1992 Silverado pickup. Truck is not heavily used and was in bad need of deferred maintenance/repair of the electrical system. While I accept that all repairs were Badly needed, I think they missed the real "emergency" repair until they had made other extensive repairs. The real "emergency" was the computer. After the other repairs were made the truck still did not run properly until the computer was replaced.

My car was towed to Sallas at 5:30pm on a Thursday. John did take a quick look, determined it was short on antifreeze but also had a water leak, probably water pump or hoses and recommended I not drive it home. he arranged an uber ride home for me that night. Called me the next morning with the results of the inspection which showed I did need a new water pump and radiator hoses. They had it fixed and ready for me to pick up that afternoon. all their staff were friendly and professional and they provided a clean and cool waiting area. I would definitely recommend them for any auto repair.

Ross and John were personable and Professional in their handling of the service of my car. Why does this capitalize every word? LOL!

The work was done as expected. Though it did take a day longer than expected. I am satisfied wih the end result but would hope in the future if i have a appointment for early morning that the work could be started before 4:00 pmish.
