I just wanted to take a few moments to brag about your Overland Park store. They never cease to amaze me! I have been there numerous times as well as my husband a handful of times. Most of the times just for an oil change, but, a few times for pricey repairs that they just seem to make me feel better about and always find some type of help to make it easier on my wallet. This last time, I couldn’t have been any happier. I usually make an appointment, but, over the weekend, I had a flat and didn’t end up getting it fixed. I brought it in yesterday and stated my name and as Larry was looking through the appointments, I told him I didn’t have one and told him my situation. I asked how much it would be and was told it would be $33 dollars . Feeling it was kind of pricey and thinking I needed new tires by winter, I debated on getting it fixed and just dealing with it, even though I know that it’s not good to drive like that, especially after knowing how fast my tire was leaking as my husband could see the nail in the tire. I was talking to Larry and was telling him about my tires and that they were at 6/32 and he looked at me stunned that I was going to buy tires when they were like that, and advised I wait until at least Spring! He totally answered a prayer, not to mention made me a happy customer. I told him I was going to call my husband first to see what he wanted me to do, and I would be back. He said fix it as what Larry had explained you all do, to him, seemed like a reasonable price. So, I asked for a ride home, and that’s where it got even better! The driver, Dan, who knows me well as he’s always taking me to my house, was there and they said that they didn’t have any of the courtesy vehicles to take me back in. I said, no biggie I can just walk home as I just live a few blocks down the street. Nope! He comes to get me in his OWN car and takes me home! Never in a million years would I think that ANY repair shop would have an employee be willing to use their own personal car to take a customer home. That totally made my day. He then came back(in the courtesy car) to come pick me up when my car was done, and when I came to get my car, John and Larry assisted me in getting my bill paid and I noticed that there was something I missed from the time before about a light being out, and inquired about it. They said you probably already fixed it. I hadn’t, but, now I will make sure it’s fixed. Anyways, long story short, I just wanted you to know that you all have an AWESOME crew working for you and I am so blessed to have found your all’s repair shop.

Larry and the team at the OP location were courteous and always friendly and eager to help. Larry educated me on what needed to be done to my car for best performance, along with explaining options. "John and everyone at Sallas, Overland Park, does incredible work. Recently I had an accident with my car and took it in to be looked at. They evaluated the damage and told me it would be best to have a body shop fix it and recommended a shop for me to use. They then drove my car over to the shop so I would not have to come back to Sallas to do it myself. Then two days afterward John called me to make sure the body repair shop had contacted me and provided me an estimate for the repair. Sallas made no money off this transaction yet they treated me as if I had just spent $10,000 at their store. They make me feel like part of their family. "I just wanted to send you a personal thank you to you and your techs. Robert and Barry were extremely helpful in explaining and letting me see the issues on my truck while in the bay. As a semi-mechanical person, I enjoyed being able to have those conversations an look over the truck while on the lifts. Grant it I have spent a fair amount fixing this vehicle, it seems to be running like a champ (knock on wood). "I first heard about Sallas Auto Repair, when I was going to apply for a job with them, years ago. Not sure what happened, but I never did apply with them, but spent 9 years in the auto industry. 4 years in Sales and 5 years in Service. My customer satisfaction index in sales was 100% and in service 97%. I treated each customer as if they were my family. And I wanted to be treated that way myself. When I found out that Sallas Auto Repair was coming out to Overland Park, I was excited, to say the least. I would finally get to see how they treated me, and I need to insert here, my wife as well. So far, I have not been let down. They do top notch work, and the prices are very reasonable. Plus and first most, they are HONEST and dependable. I have recommended Sallas Auto Repair to all my friends and family. I want to thank each member of Sallas Auto Repair for their dedicated interest in the customer and their vehicle. An example that just happened, is when I brought my car in for some service, due to the warning lights coming on. They had the car 2 days, and did see the problem, but when the car was on the lift, the problem went away, after they had checked the car out. They did not charge me a penny for this.
