Acura Repair and Service in Kansas City and Overland Park

It took Honda ten years to research and develop the Acura and was considered the world’s first luxury brand from Japan. Acura launched in the United States and Canada in 1986. Their goal was to market luxury and high-performance vehicles. This luxury line launched by Honda inspired Toyota to launch Lexus and Nissan to launch Infiniti. Acura became a trendsetter.

When it comes to protecting your Acura, you want the best. We take steps to address what you brought it in for first, and secondly, we look to make sure there aren’t any hidden issues. Tips for taking care of your Acura:
Fuel: Don’t buy gas because it is the cheapest place in town. These types of gas stations tend to have lower-quality gas. Engine problems from poor gas far out weight the money you may save at the gas pump. Only buy from name brand, high volume gas stations. Also, always buy the type of gas recommended for your engine. Running the wrong gas can also cause you "avoidable" repairs.
Oil: – you will want to change your oil somewhere between 3,000 and 5,000 miles. It depends on the age of your vehicle and the type of oil used. We always use the type of oil recommended by Acura. There is no wiggle room here, and not following the directions on oil changes can cause some damage to your engine.
Service: Our ASE Certified Mechanics use the highest quality parts; know what services you are due for and know what oil to use for all Acura models. Sallas Auto Repair is considered the go-to auto repair shop in South Kansas City by many Acura owners.
