I was in KC on business, and realized at 4pm on a Friday that I was having serious difficulty turning my steering wheel. I was scared to drive home and possibly harm my car more. I called two other mechanics and they gave me the runaround and refused to quote me prices or get me in that late in the day. I called Sallas after finding their number in the phone book and John listened about my problem, and told me to just bring it in and he would tell me if it was safe to drive home. I brought it in and he took the time to look at it (at 4pm on a FRIDAY!!) and immediately identified the problem as a power steering fluid leak. John promptly refilled my fluid, and also put in some extra fluid that would help stop the leak. The noise was fixed, and when I went to pay, John said that it was only something minor, and there was no charge! As somebody with no prior business at there shop, the folks at Sallas got me in at 4pm on a Friday, and fixed my car in ten minutes, and didn't even charge me for their time or supplies. Simply put, the best service I have ever had an auto shop, and possibly the best service I have had in any business in my life. Thanks John, you rock!

"I'm a little late on this testimony but I also knew it had to be told. On April 26th, my car went BOOM! Everything in the world was wrong. I'm not good with auto tech words. My front brakes broke, a piece went flying under the car, the driver front wheel locked, couldn't go in no direction but back. Now I'm on 95th Metcalf, Macy's parking lot. just so happen (Blessing) hubby wasn't far away came picked up my daughter and self. Here's the kicker. I knew something was wrong with car. I had scheduled an appt to take my car up to SALLAS on tues. But with this incident I'm there on Fri. I guess I wanted to kind of describe my situation. After my hubby got us home I go up to SALLAS to let them know what was going on. my service person was SCOTT MAHLAN. very courteous, patience. Me I'm kinda freaking out. I had to call my ins comp to go get my car. They wanted me there with the car. That was a no no. This gentleman, told me not to worry he would take care of it and he did. My huckabuck is fixed. Sallas went above and beyond the car of duty. I want to put it all down but I also know they maynot be the the position to do what they did for me as far as getting my car to them. I have lived in this area over 20yrs. I remember when they held classes for ladies so when they went to get their car fixed they couldn't be told anything. Yea, cost are gone up, we're angry about a lot of issues but I just want to say when it comes to the SALLAS team, they kinda let you know all is not bad. My auto shop is on Hickman Mills. Also giving credit where credit is do they were all wonderful to me because of how our ins wants to use their own tow trucks and such and I was ready to lose my mind . God always knows when and where to put good people in your life or in your path. Due to certain medical problems I have I hope I have made myself understandable.
