John BlauwJohn Blauw holds down the fort at our Overland Park Repair Shop – lovingly known as Sallas Auto 2. John’s one of the best managers we’ve ever seen, and his team and customers love him. A Kansas City native, John has gained all of his experience while working in the industry. He’s worked with cars for 32 years. He’s worked under the hood. He’s managed people. He’s got AMI and ASA training certificates. He’s got mad people skills. And he’s a rock star (when it comes to running a repair shop.) John’s love for building relationships with our customers is evident through our customer loyalty and referral rate. He is honest, and doesn’t ever sell anything to a customer that they don’t need. And that is why we love him. In addition to loving his management job, he also enjoys family time, outdoorsman activities and working around the house.

Eric AtchleyService Advisor Eric Atchley is a car guy. He took his first job at an auto repair shop when he was 17, and has worked with cars ever since. As part of our team, he also works with people. Eric is one of the guys who provides estimates, explanations and service to each customer. He loves his job, and it shows. He stands by Sallas Auto because no other repair shop in the area gives customers complementary rides, loaner cars, and a guarantee to get the job done right. (And make it right if there’s dissatisfaction.) He also understands that car troubles mean a bad day, and does whatever he can to turn that around. Eric enjoys making upgrades to his home, spending time with his family and building cars. His passion for helping customers solve their problems allows us to have the best service in the automotive repair industry.

Robert ScottIt’s completely cool with us if customers want to salute Robert as he completes their oil changes. After serving in the Army as a wheeled mechanic for five years, Robert has recently moved back to the Kansas City area and joined the Sallas Auto Repair team. His Army training allows him to be thorough, fast and complete when it comes to working on customer vehicles and oil changes. He’s thankful to be home to hang out with friends and family, and hit the track for drag racing, too. |

Michael AverySome find a beach relaxing, but for Michael Avery, he loves working on the farm, and working on cars. Growing up in the Ozark Mountains, Michael developed a love for all things automotive. He’s gotten his feet wet in the auto business through working at Sallas and rebuilding tractors. He enjoys learning something new each day from our ASE Master Technicians. Known as “Little Buddy” around the shop, Michael is a hard worker and great guy who performs at 110% each day. At home, he’s married and has two “little buddies” of his own. He enjoys fishing, hunting and camping with his sons. |

Paul CorbettPaul Corbett is the details guy at our Overland Park Repair Shop. For over 10 years, he’s worked in the automotive business, gaining experience and certifications under his belt. It all began when he put the engine in his first car himself, with no help, and afterwards worked on friends and family member’s cars. He loves a good challenge and figuring out what’s happening with a vehicle. As part of the Sallas team, he enjoys his team members and appreciates working with up-to-date equipment each day. While he’s an outdoors guy most of the time, he also likes video games and watching TV. |
