Nick Sallas founded Sallas Auto Repair in September 1993. The business began as a two-bay shop with Nick and his mom running the show. Today, the shop consists of 10 service bays and 10 employees. Nick's wife Carla joined the company in 1998 to help bridge any gaps between administration and production.
Nick is a "Master Certified" technician. During Nick's 10-year tenure with Goodyear, the company sent him through all their training programs. Nick also went through Goodyear's "Highest Driveability" program in Sacramento, CA.
Nick also worked for General Motors and Honda, and is very experienced with the vehicle technology found in those models. Honda trained Nick out of the company's Chicago, IL location.
As the business grew Nick quickly realized he needed management training and has attended MANY training classes to grow the business properly.
Carla's main focus is marketing, finances and human resources for the company. She too has taken several courses in these areas. Sallas Automotive is a member of the ASA (Automotive Service Association) in Kansas City and is one of the few facilities to qualify as an approved repair facility by the AAA (American Automobile Association).
